From the disposal of inert waste into our fully licenced landfill site right through to the sale of our fully recovered products, recycling is our passion. All our products are washed and graded to comply with a variety of specifications making them a truly viable alternative to prime quarried aggregates. By choosing recycled materials, you are helping to reduce the industry carbon footprint with a more cost-effective option.
Pre Process
Material arrives on site and is assessed for its suitability for recycling.
All suitable materials are then screened to extract any oversized greater than 80mm such as bricks or concrete lumps. These are stored separately for the production of coarser recycled aggregates such as 6F5.

The screened material is fed into the wash plant hopper and from here it passes onto the main conveyor. At this stage, all materials pass under a large magnet to remove any small metallic contaminants.
The material now passes over the initial rinser screen which removes the finer sand fraction which is pumped to the sand recovery plant.
Two grades of sand are recovered in the sand plant and fed to stock piles via conveyors.
The larger stone material then passes into the log washer where it is scrubbed and any residual clay or finer material are removed. Any floating contaminants will also be removed here.
The cleanstone now passes over a screening deck where it is rinsed of residual dirty water and separated into the required sizes.
Once gradied, the final products are stockpiled in their appropriate bays via stacking conveyors.
The dirty water containing any silt or clay that is too fine for sand is pumped to the water treatment plant. Flocculant is added to aid the settlement of the solids forming a sludge.
The sludge is pumped into a buffer tank for storage until it is pumped into the filter press which extracts water from the thickened sludge material. This reclaimed water passes back into the wash system to be reused. Once sufficient water has been extracted, the resulting materials form an inert non - permeable clay.
